Located in the upper left hand corner of Washington, there is a place where you can learn to work with glass. A camp focused on learning and observing. Creativity, cabins and community is what blooms in these foothills. Artists come here to teach on staff, and learn among the other students who come here to experience it from a different view point. It was referred to me as "A little piece of heaven", from multiple staff I met on site.
"Pilchuck Glass School was founded in 1971 by glass artist Dale Chihuly and patrons Anne Gould Hauberg and John H. Hauberg"
To looking out from Inspiration point to the Puget Sound, to wandering up and into the trojan horse, it was fun to see the property and what its worth is to these artists.
The best school in the nation for learning about glass - so I am told.
