{{{ Fort Stevens State Park }}}

On the coast of Oregon is a state park that sits in between the mouth of the Columbia River, and the Pacific Ocean. It once was used as a military base in 1863-1947, but now is mostly a tourist attraction. If you visit, make sure to wander over to the famous ship wreck. The ship is called Peter Iredale, and it has been ashore since September 1906, which makes it 108 years that its been decaying on the beach.
